Join a book club
Paper Boat hosts four regularly scheduled clubs here at the shop. We also support two community clubs that meet at locations around West Seattle. Check each club for specific details regarding meeting location, date, and time.
Do you have a book club? Next time you are in the store, register your book club with Paper Boat and all registered members will receive 10% off books ordered for the club. To qualify, clubs need a minimum of 4 members.
The Strange & Unusual Book Club
From mystery to the unusual, this club is for those who don't like book clubs. We keep it casual, chat about the book, swap stories, and have fun. Fiction-focused, bi-monthly, right here at Paper Boat.

The Classic Novels (and Movies) Book Club
A book club for lovers of classic literature and film. We kick off each meeting with a trivia quiz, delve into a free-range discussion, then choose our next read together. From Austen and Dickens to García Márquez, and occasionally film, we range widely across the classics.

Summer Reading Bingo is our way of bringing the community together around something we love: reading.
