REQUEST TO BOOK AN EVENT

Thank you for your interest in setting up an author event at Paper Boat Booksellers. We strive to support our community and authors in many different ways, whether it’s carrying your book through our local author consignment program or setting up an event in our store to help promote your book and gain the interest of readers all around. Through past experiences, we have come to understand the challenges of producing successful events and because of this and the fact that we get many event inquiries, we request that all potential authors complete this questionnaire. This helps us determine if your book is a good match for our community.

To ensure a successful event, Paper Boat Booksellers expects author and presenters to conduct their own publicity campaign by reaching out to friends, family and local media. This questionnaire will also help us gauge your participation level for publicity.

Once you’ve completed the questionnaire, you can email your digital media kit (100 word synopsis, 2-3 sentence bio, JPG images of book cover and author) to our events coordinator Desirae Judy at info@paperboatbooksellers.com. Please type in the heading “Event Proposal”. Completion of this questionnaire does not guarantee an event at Paper Boat and all applicants are subject to approval by our events coordinator and staff.
